Seemed odd to me, but more than one person told me a new brake light switch might cure my problem so for £20 I thought it was worth a punt.

Thanks for your replies. I had all six plugs changed, and changed the brake light switch in the hope it would cure the intermittent glow plug light and SRS message, but both problems still remain !!

I’ve looked on eBay but the only matching door is in Germany so far too expensive with the carriage. I’ll drive it as it is for the time being and keep an eye out. it would be handy to discover if drivers doors from saloons will fit my estate, if anyone knows ?

That’s the other option but it does have a fair bit of damage. If I can find a good value matching door , I think swapping it is probably the best move.

Thanks for your responses fella’s. If I knew for sure it was an airspring I think I’d just buy two and have them both changed. As I’m not totally convinced I think I’ll book it in to Motoraid and have it diagnosed.
