In Bulgaria we have TONS of old W124s - I've seen a 700,000 km (435,000 miles) works no-problem. I had a W201 with 200,000 km on the clock and my current drive is a 124 with 211,000 km. But, hey - here in Bulgaria almost every car is with re-wound clock, so I think both of them are with...

I'm not sure if W201 speakers are smaller but they should fit.
