Just to point out the obvious Lower tyre pressures give faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar more grip/traction in winter/wet/snow/ice conditions = do not over inflate in winter - if you are to change pressures at all then under inflate them but not enough to cause walls to flex and tyres to damage
