Saw 187 on the c63 and was very stable until trying to slow down. I would agree the c63 is limited to 155 for a reason. May be best to limit yourself to 170 for your own safety.

Had a very similar similar noise at about 150 in an Impreza and it turned out to be badly fitted radiator shroud. The car was brand new and took weeks to find it. The noise resonated through the car like someone was using a hammer drill on the roof! And made me jump out of my skin it was that...

Open the bonnet and look up to the right you will see a U clamp towards the front. If I remember correctly turn the 13 mm nut on the base clock wise about half a turn this will slightly extend the whole clamp outwards try to close to see if it improves and repeat if still tight. Only go as far...

I think most of it comes with the AMG race pack as you access through the amg button. If it could be removed (which I doubt) I would be happy to sell it. About £2800 option new if I remember.
