    G7 Gearbox service intervals ?

Hi All, My 2015 E Class 220 diesel Coupe (C207) has now covered 32,500 miles and had a 'b' service a month ago but was wondering when the gearbox will need an oil and filter change and then how often it will need a service following that. Many thanks in advance of your advise.

    Corroded alloy wheel weights.

I like to keep the inside of my wheels as clean as the outside on my 2015 E Class Coupe but in resent years I have noticed the wheel weights which are now used stuck on to the wheels when balanced corrode and start to look unsightly after a year after fitting. Thinking of having all the wheels...

    Squint steering column when cold

As I have posted on previous threads I am very pleased with my 2015 E Class Coupe but the only tiny niggle I have is the steering squeek when the car is cold but disapears after the car is fully warmed up. I can only hear this if the radio/CD sound is off. Any easy fix guys?

Mud flaps for my 2015 E Class Coupe (c207)

Has anyone fitted front and rear mud flaps to their c207 and if so is the main dealer my only option as I have drawn a blank so far where to buy, and were they easy to fit ? Many thanks.

My lovely 2015 E Class coupe

After returning the red SLK to the main dealer due to paint issues I collected my 2015 E Class Coupe 220 diesel bluetec and have to say been very pleased with it. Considering this car replaces my Jaguar XK 4.2 V8 have been impressed with the way it drives and find it a complete mystery how such...

Get my E Class on Thursday.

After rejecting the red SLK I purchased due to the well known paint issues I have purchased a 2015 E Class Cope 220 diesel in white which will be more practical than the SLK much to my wife's regret, but know the E Class will grow on her.

    Purchased a SLK at last

Yes at last have purchased an approved Mercedes 2015 SLK 250D AMG with 18,500 miles on the clock. I chose the diesel after a lot of debate as although many of my journeys are only 15 miles or so (will use my other petrol car for shorter trips) I do visit my mother in London once a month of...

SLK.........Diesel vs Petrol, some advise please.

Hi all, I am still considering buying a 2012-2015 SLK but should I have petrol or diesel ? the majority of my journeys are around 12 miles or under on country roads where the speed limit is 60 mph. I go down to london every 6 weeks or so which is over 100 miles on motorways but is that enough to...

I'm back & thinking about a 2011 (onwards) SLK (not CLK)

Hello to all that remember me from a few years back and thought I would have a look what response and realised have made a stupid error of titling my thread CLK instead of SLK. As I can't seem to delete my original post I have reposed and apologise for the confusion. After selling my CLK 350...

    I'm back & thinking about a 2011 (onwards) CLK

Hello to all that remember me from a few years back. After selling my CLK 350 convertible I had Porsche Cayman, BMW F10 and a Jaguar XK which is currently for sale. I am now considering a 2011 or newer low mileage CLK for around £12000. I am not bothered about how thirsty the engine is as this...

Buying a 2007 CL, what to check for?

I have now sold my Porsche and intend to look at a 2007 Mercedes CL 500 with 70k miles and full MB service history. I would like to know what key areas to check and do these cars have any weak points? I think my main concerns are the suspension and the 7 speed auto box. If there is any owners...

E Class Diesel Blue Efficiency, any good for a short commute??

I am in the market soon (once I have sold my Porsche) to buy a Mercedes CL but like to keep an open mind and look at alternatives, my budget is something like up to £16,000. The E Class coupe Blue Efficiency diesels look tempting while not in the same league as the CL's, they seem good value...

Cl or SL........ which is the wisest buy?

After a long hard think I am going to sell my Porsche Cayman as after only 6 weeks of ownership, it is just not practical for my wife being so low getting in and out with her back problem which is a shame as it's in mint condition and with out a single blemish, so at least I will get my money...

Best way to please your wife.

At last I managed to cut the grass as it was dry enough which neatened up the garden and pleased my wife. Yesterday I cleaned the windows so now I am in my wife's really good books (at last)

    CLK (A209) wind deflector

I have now sold my CLK Convertible so I have a wind deflector in excellent condition without any holes in the mesh and comes with the storage bag. This is a Mercedes original part and makes all the difference with the roof down as you don't have the annoying wind buffeting in the cabin. I...

Taking up cycling again after a 40 year gap !

I am taking up cycling again for pleasure after a 40 year gap. I have purchased a fantastic slightly used aluminium racer with campag. gears etc. and look forward to getting back on the saddle, but don't think I will do time trials as I used too. I think my wife thinks I am a little mad, hope I...
