Tried to do a timed run on an empty stretch of road that leads to a dead end in the sticks, away from any other cars with good visibility.
The 32 should hit 60 in about 4.6 seconds but there's no way I can reach that ! First run the wheels just spun for the first 2-3 seconds and it was like 7...
We all hear about the 0-62 times(is this because of the 0-100km euro spec?)as being 4.2 sec but is there an official 0-60 time?I would imagine it would be 4 secs or possibly even 3.9 ish which is insane!!!Anybody got any figures or tested it on a FL A45?
As we all know, MB and every other manufacturers MPG figures are never realistic in the real world.
It's made me wonder if the 0-60 (or 0-62) figures are ever achievable?
I've never taken the trouble to time any of my cars. Wondering if anyone knows any facts.
Out of interest, what would you expect the 0-60 of a healthy W209 CLK55 convertible to be?
Have never pulled a 0-60 in my car, normally just cruise around to be honest but thought today I would have a bash......
Hi guys we were doing some test mapping today on a Clients 211 E320 (3.0).....
Road tests pleased him very much, especially when he took off ESP and threw the back end out aroud the first roundabout :D
Anyway here is a link to the 0-60 vid we recorded.....excuse the traction light lol...
I'm wondering if anyone has any 0-60 figures for a 1991/2 300d saloon with automatic gearbox?
I don't expect it to be a rocket, but my current 1.6 rover auto feels a bit pathetic, especially going up hills. I imagine that the 300d feels a bit more unstoppable! Would I be right?
I've been talking to a couple of remapping places as i have been toying with the idea of getting a bit more power out of my W210 320 CDi and was just wandering what kind of performance increase i would see?
I have been told that the map i would want will boost the car from 204bhp to 255bhp...
Ok guys, heres a quick video to show how its running currently.
Still seems off the pace at about 11 seconds 0-60 but getting better.. I still think it should start pulling earlier in the rev range.. How does it compare to the other c250s out...
Did a few 0-60 runs tonight with my trusty G-Tech.
Best run was 5.23.
My rear tyres are down to about 3mm, so I reckon with nice new sticky rubber on the back, I could probably get that down to 5.0 dead and, maybe with a bit of luck, break into the 4's.
0-60 in my tuned merc :bannana: :D
btw was slight up hill from 55 to 65ish danm these test tracks ;)
i will get better vids hopefully soon of the E320 CDI quicker than that :)
from 90mph to 123mph...
What's the best way to measure "real world" 0-60 performance? With my new-found power (see other thread) I decided I wanted to know how fast this car can push itself to the magic 60mph - here is what we did:
- Carried out on a flat piece of empty 'A' road at 3am with no other cars around
Can someone explain to me how these are judged?
Yesterday, me and a mate sat in my w202 1.8 and did a standing start and timed to 60Mph, we did it twice and both times were around 8sec's.
On the offical spec sheet, its listed as 13secs?
Am I timing somthing wrong?
