I've been told that the exhaust on my R107 is leaking and needs to be replaced. The initial quote I've received is for the original (non-catalytic converter) MB replacement exhaust and the price including fitting is in excess of 1,000 pounds. :confused: Do any forum members have any advice...

I got a replacement liner from MB, they told me to go to a store and buy a spray on glue to attach it, can you recommend a brand? My local car parts store were reluctant to sell me any for fear the "high temp in the engine compartment could cause the glue to ignite" Hope you can help mike
