When the box is fairly cold, stop at a busy junction, select N wait for a gap then select D pull off gently and it doesn't change gear. I've even hit the limiter thinking oh it will change before than n bam. First time thankfully no one behind me...

Change headlamps to clear, current ones look dated.
Lower slightly.
Sort rust out on arches & roof. Thankfully very early stages.

I pushed the car backwards in the garage I can't remember if jn had the ignition on or off, now the car won't start. ,all lights come on and start motor turns and it appears like something electrical
I have disconnected the battery and tried turning the immobiliser on and off with the key fob...
As above the bulb on the lighting switch bottom right on dashboard does not illuminate anymore.
Popped in to main dealer yesterday and chatted to parts dept. No replacement bulb shown on system and replacemnt unit is circa £300:eek:
Any sensible suggestions for a fix?:doh:

Well I am thinking of a c class and my engines are the m104 2.8 or a 230 kompressor. I am wondering about economy as the car will never see a city so country roads and some motorway usage. Is there a big reliability issue with either engines and has anyone used LPG on these motors.
just had new head and gasket fitted and engine is running well, but revs up to 2000 revs till u put it in drive then they drop again.

My clk struggles to start, it turns over fine it's like it just quite catch to turn on and once it does start, il get out to close the gate il close the car door and the car will turn off!?

hiya just picked up a 1990 CE 230 Sportsline. 155000 on the clock I am the 5th owner :-) needs a few bits doing but am looking forward to a car that only needs air fuel and spark to run. Have had enough of modern day cars and there troublesome sensors lol
