I hope this is the right forum. My oldish 240td (120k kms total from new and my car from new) has an auto box that slips. Most likely it is due to a service by a Bosch injection pump outfit that doesn't understand the intricacies of the vacuum control system. I am not sure what all the pipes...

From this VIN WDB12318312013266 can someone tell me which autobox is fitted? It has the OM616 engine. The core problem is adjusting the vacuum for the auto shift but I can't find a vacuum diagram which matches exactly what I have. Anyone have one by chance? thanks for any help or pointers

I am going to change the rear suspension spheres on the self-levveling suspension. Does anyone know the best place to buy these in the UK? I assume I drain the fluid or at least take off pressure, unbolt the old ones, bolt in the new ones, replace the fluid and bingo! Is it any more complicated...

240td - 120k kms from new and never a problem. Suddenly it won't change up to top gear as it used to. The fluid level is correct and the fluid is in good condition. Any clues? I have not taken it for a long drive to see if it is heat related since I didn't want to get too far from home.
