In my 30 year old 4-Matic when I am accelerating from a standstill and reach 30mph the car rocks from side to side (like a boat). You can drive through this and it stops at 40mph but will start again as you decelerate to 40 - 30mph.

My 124 300te cut out (stalled) today after a 1 hour motorway drive. I had pulled into the Services when it simply stalled.

What colour would the plastic behind the chrome have been on my 300TE when new? It is a faded grey now. I am unsure if that is the original or if it would have been black.

Mine works occasionally but will stop when it feels like it or simply not engage. Could be a dirty switch on the stalk? But I figure if it cuts off when it should not then it is a vacuum or cable issue? Just looking for what to check please.
