I came across an advert for a gorgeous midnight blue sel in Kent, and was wondering what people thought of them?
Are they horrendous to run? Problematic? Or as wonderful as they look?

Its the one with 8 pins per socket and runs knock sensors.

Hi all... Been here for years... never posted! I have just acquired a Zender kitted 560 SEC. It's an 86 in a kind of aquamarine blue colour which I have never seen before but I pick the car up on weds and can't wait!
This is not my first MB, I have also owned a 500SEC and an r129 SL 300-24...
Im reading conflicting stuff online, some people claim to have fitted 500SEC boxes and others claim they arent interchangeable. My 560SEC engine is super, pulls strongly etc. Transmission has rough/slammy Reverse and Flaring from 2nd to 3rd, has 170k miles on it, so not surprised.
