Hello everybody,
Of course the really hot weather arrives and suddenly the aircon doesnt work....
When I press the A/C button the red light flashes for a bit then goes off. I have had the system recharged and the technician told me that the flashing light (which still flashes) indicates a fault...
Air con in my older cars ranged from icy cold to cold. My 2015 C Class is simply 'cool' presumably due to lower performing greener gases.
Noticed in a range of brand new BMWs too the air con is simply 'cool' rather than cold.
Also just noticed the new air con tech in the new E Class which...
I've looked at some reviews and alot of people complaining that these companies like ATS/Kwik Fit/Halfords tend to cause leaks for air con.
I need to have my air con re-gassed anyone recommend where from and costs?
My air con has been working fine, until this morning when I noticed that there was little airflow through the dash vents. It didn't seem to make any difference when I changed the rotary controls to full face, or full windscreen/floor etc.
The fan speed changes, but hardly any difference in...
i did a scan using ICS MB2 to check my air con, as it does not seem to get that cold, despite being regassed a few weeks ago.
The following codes were stored:
960015 - the left sun sensor has a malfunction. There is a short circuit to ground or open circuit
90A907 - the actuator motor for the...
The air con my 2009 CLC200 is not icy cold as I would expect. How do I know if it needs re gassing? I don't want to payout for this if its something else. There is also a slight smell, although I have smelt much worse on other cars whilst air con is running.
Air conditioning was warm to 1 x side (drivers) gave these guys a shout; full service with antibacterial treatment, new oil and diagnostic printout for only £30 fully Inc. Mobile service
Hi guys
I have a "small"problem with my air condition. On the passenger side from the vents fly very cold air, while the driver side is just cool. The first step I did I replaced the duo valve (that's how I solved the same problem in my 211) A2118320584. Unfortunately after the replacement...
I've got a 2006 R320. While driving on a long journey over the weekend the ac seemed to stop moving air out of any of the vents. The fans could still be heard and a very small amount of air was coming out. I've read about some flaps that get stuck? Where are they on the R class and is it a case...
I used my local Halfords service centre to do an MOT in March 17, and decided to use them to do an aircon service inc a deodorising treatment
My local dealer wanted £125 plus vat, whereas halfords wanted £60inc.
I have never had an AC service on any of the cars I have driven over the last...
Hi everyone. I'm hoping someone out there can help me with this one.
I have a 350CLS 2005 model that has re-developed a noisy sort of whining/bearing sort of noise. The last time I heard this same noise I was able to rectify it by tracing it to and replacing a guide pulley that the serpentine...
Hi, anyone know the type of refrigerant gas in AC on my car please..(no manual) R134A or R1234YF are the only 2 options , i am guessing? regards, Brian Hammonds.
Hi folks
I'm struggling with air in the diesel line. I've already changed the fuel filter, middle pipe fromthe filter to the pump and the two o-rings on the pressure regulator. It ran clear for several days of sitting on the drive testing it but within 4 miles of the test drive air bubbles were...
Hi,
Has anybody had trouble with their air conditioning condenser on there C63?
Is it common for them to fail? I have taken my car in today, my air conditioning light is blinking and have been told it is my condensing unit has failed. I asked if they had pressure tested it or vacuum checked it...
I've had my a/c re-gassed 3 times now in the last 12 months, my local independent garage did it twice (April 2016 and September 2016) and the most recent was 35 days ago at Kwik Fit - none of them could find a leak and now it has lost it's cold air again :(
I do hear a strange...
Hi
Just to give you a quick summary of how this all started
My Mercedes was in a side on collision mainly on the N/S/F wheel. Minor bodywork looking damaged but the wheel was mullered. Basically had all the work fixed but Churchill after countless complaints and rework and 3 different...
My w211's centre air vent wheels have lost plastic coating on it and gives a bad look to overall interior of the car. Instead of changing the whole centre air vent panel, can we remove the air vent wheels from the panel? (see attached picture for clarity)
Thanks
