I Have noticed a couple of times now that when my son sits in the front passenger seat with the booster cushion the airbag led on the dash comes on. I have noticed this when on the motorway more than around town. the cushion doesn't have any sensors in side it and this didn't happen in my w203...

As the title says I'm after a multi function steering wheel for a retro fit into a 98 CLK. Light grey if possible but if you have a cheap one with a blown airbag I may be interested in buying it to test out the retro fit so colour would be unimportant. Thanks

Can the front passenger airbag be manually disabled on the W211? Reading the manual it implies a special child seat with a transponder has to be fitted and the air bag system will be disabled. I can't see anything on how to do this manually.

Our E320 CDI (W210) has developed a problem with the safety system. Without a passenger in the passenger seat, the "AIRBAG OFF" light and SRS light are both illuminated. As soon as someone gets into the passenger seat, both lights go out. When the passenger gets out, both lights come back on...
