Hello to all, I've recently discovered my SRS light stays on because the air back in the drivers door is missing. Does anyone know if I can simply buy a replacement airbag, fit it and clear the codes or does the aibag need to be coded to the car? ANy advice will be appreciated. 2002 A140 Thanks...

Hello! When I turn power on, then all cockpit lights come on for a while, then those shutdown and only SRS light is on after that. Any tips? what causes SRS error light on? Also how I can un-plug airbag connector? is there used glue? very hard to disconnect. BR, Harri

Can the front passenger airbag be manually disabled on the W211? Reading the manual it implies a special child seat with a transponder has to be fitted and the air bag system will be disabled. I can't see anything on how to do this manually.

the SRS light on the instrument panel stays on at all times. this has been happening ever since i removed the instrument panel for cleaning and reinstalled it. before this the light would switch off after the engine started up. i have checked all the connections on the backside of the instrument...

Our E320 CDI (W210) has developed a problem with the safety system. Without a passenger in the passenger seat, the "AIRBAG OFF" light and SRS light are both illuminated. As soon as someone gets into the passenger seat, both lights go out. When the passenger gets out, both lights come back on...
