Given that the Comand satnav picks up traffic problems I don't usually want to listen to radio traffic bulletins, so I generally keep the TA box unticked on the radio control. But every so often it seems to select TA by itself, which I only find out when something I'm listening to gets...

Got the C32 2002 with command etc;- Does anybody know how to turn on the TA for traffic news/announcemnts on radio stations can;t seem to find it (if it exists) :confused:

My old W211 E-class COMAND gave me the choice as to how much the music should be faded (or muted) while the navigation instructions are being spoken. On my W221 S-class, I can't find any such function. The navigation volume and music volumes appear to be completely independent of each other...

Hi there, TA announcements in my COMAND keep popping up even though I've pressed the TA OFF key while on radio. Is there any way other than pressing the Mute key on the display?. I want to see traffic announcement through TMC but NOT something that interrupts my music!! Thanks experts.

Just a quickie... Been loaned a W211 Elegance by my dealer and the TA's on the radio are driving me nuts. How do I turn them off, please? (I can't RTFM coz there isn't one in the car :( )

I have owned my EClass for 4 years and have just discovered this :bannana: I was getting really frustrated as it seemed mad that if you got an RDS TA traffic announcement you could not cancel it from the Multi Function wheel you have to reach over and press any button on the Comand Unit...
