aps50cd

Hi, bought -05 CLS with APS50-CD, I know it´s difficult to change to Comand because all the Navi wiring from back and AGW etc. But if I don´t need navi,only play CD and watch DVD, is it just plug´n´play, take old one out and put a new one in? Or if I change to APS50 with Navi,it still needs new...
