Does any one know the part number for a w203 locking centre arm rest console, I recently saw one on ebay,the following day it was sold. The console had two buttons as normal, but the big one had a lock inserted.:confused:

Just had a big shock at Merc dealers who say they want £120 for dizzy cap and rotor arm for a W126 280 se (year 1981) Euro car parts have quoted £25 for both. However they needed a Merc part number as apparently there are three different caps available. Merc however will not disclose part...

Hi I hav ebeen told by Mercedes that my front arms are split an d need replacing. They gace me a price!!!No need to go further there! Anyway, does anyone have any knowledge of how much this should cost at an indy or other garage (approx). I beleive it is the front top on both sides. Cheers

I have a 1992 230ce with a broken drivers seatbelt arm. It's only the holder at the end of the arm that has split. It looks like it just slides off so a new one can be fitted. I guess I would need to unbolt the seatbelt at the floor to slide over the new holder. Is this the right way to do it...

have bought a mercedes, and has no arm rest, will it just screw in or have to change mid section its a c200 sport R reg if it helps

hi There is excessive play at the right upper transverse conttrol arm mount on my 1985 R107 SL. how difficult is this to fit? if i am just replacing one side, would i be OK to unbolt it and remove and replace it without removing the spring? sorry i've not dont work on suspension...

My wife's w168 has suddenly developped a noisy wiper arm. It "squeels" when moving. I was planning on putting some WD40 on the spring and base mechanism. Anybody can see a reason why not?

Hi my mothers CLK 240K W209 has some knocking coming from the rear of the car, she took it to Mercedes in Slough who diagnosed the fault as a Front O/S thurst arm and 2 x bushes which comes to £131.20+VAT then £375.10+VAT for the labour. My question is does this sound like the right diagnosis...

My camshaft has some wear, I have established that Brabus reprofiled the original M103 camshaft for more lift. My camshaft has the mercedes stamp followed by "103" and "22" below that, on the other side "AE2". My chassis number tells me that my camshaft is of the later, chilled cast iron type...
