Quick question for all the clever people out there. I am looking for some slider bolts for my front brake calipers. Anyone have any ideas where I can get some?
One was stuck and caused my disc to bend. Have managed to free it up and replaced the disc, but could do with some new ones.
Many thanks...
My owner's handbook (2010 W169 16" alloys) is unclear about whether the same bolts from the alloys can also be used for the steel spare wheel. Any clarification would be gratefully received.

Hello,
I am looking for a cheap set of 16" wheels, alloy, steel, what ever that would fit the W210 E300TD.
If they are genuine MB I need the bolts as I have aftermarket wheels at the moment and the bolts I have will not fit MBs wheels.
Cheers.

Certain of my wheel bolts where starting to rust seriously. Removed all 20 and greased them in my small parts washer, brushed them all around on a revolving wire brush, cleaned them again with some nitro solvent cleaner and gave them 2 coats of zinc/alu paint. Says that the zinc/alu paint does...

Ive just bought these 'E class' 16" alloys to replace mine.
I see the 210 it come from so why when I tried to fit the first wheel - I found that the wheel bolt wasnt long enough?
Can I get a used set of longer wheels bolts?
Cheers
7½J 16 ET51 from a W140 with MB part # 140 400 03 02. These were on a W124 E320T.
Consider the tyres thrown in but FYI they are shod with 2 decent Avon ZV5s & 2 decent Pirelli P6000s. May do someone as winter wheels.
£200 cash on collection from near Reading.

I think i've just managed to get my hands on some original 3 piece OZ Opera AMG 1 split rims for my SL :bannana:
So now I am just wondering what seat type and bolt length is correct for these rims.
Anyone happen to know what they should be?
I invested in a set of aftermarket alloys today for my 2005 C Class Coupe and it turns out the stock bolts are a few mm too long. Any ideas on how to get shorter bolts? I've tried Halfords but they only stock Ripspeed bolts.
I've bought some 211 wheels (A2114014302) and now I need some bolts to fit them to my 210. Has anybody got any that they no longer want?
I need a full set.
