Hi guys might be buying my first merc tomorrow e280 cdi sport, I have notice that the front calipers have the mercedes benz wording on them but the caliper itself is quite corroded looking what have u guys used to paint and keep the wording etc any tips? What colour were the calipers from factory?

Hi guys. Has anyone ever had the need to replace the covers on the front brake calipers of an E Class w212. MB dealer sent a parts diagram today and they are not on there. Surely dont have to by a caliper just to get the cover?

Painted the hubs yesturday Silver as they were all rusty and it looks so much better whilst i was there i also washed wheels, But now my calipers look dull lol. I dont what colour to paint them? really dont want a chav look but id like to break the silver up abit. Any suggestions on colour?:dk:

Just upgrading the brakes on my SLK 350 R171 to EBC Ultimax discs and Redstuff pads.......got the usual problem with tatty, rusty calipers and caliper bolts. Is it possible to have Lucas brake parts and Teves on my Mercedes .Like Teves calipers on the front .And Lucas on the rear or vice - versa. I am having problems purchaseing the pads for both .
