Need a new engine for my merc 230 ce or even a 3.o if it will fit in to my gearbox

I have a small leak that looks like its coming from the drivers side of the rocker cover. It's not major but causing a bit of smoke. I'm thinking the gasket needs replacing. Any tips on doing this?

Compared to the petrol sixes these feel quite underpowered, are there any tried and tested routes to improve this engines output?

Maybe you should state that your coupe has a bodykit (looks like Carat to me) as it might help with the sale
