Hi! I'm about to install some gadgets, and I was wondering where the positive terminal is connected in the engine compartment? Also, where is the most practical point to get some wires through to the cabin? Car is a W202 C180. ;)

Today I removed the rubber weather strip around the boot lid frame and see a lot of rust. Is this a common problem for w203 c-class? Has anyone else remove the rubber and checked it out? :confused:

How do you remove the protective cover which is fitted under the engine on a 2003 ML270CDI? I can see where the fixings are and they have slots for a screwdriver but they just turn without loosening or tightening. I am tempted to give it a good yank to see if it is a 'push' type of fitting but...

Does anyone know where I can get a wooden lid for the centre (Flip up) storage console. I have seen images of wooden ones on American sites (Which also have the release catches in wood). Mine is getting tatty now and I want to spruce it up a bit. 1996 S 500 w140 :cool:
