Hi, I'm having trouble with the coolant temperature reading on my CLC. It's stickin at 90, even when the engine is cold. I'm going to replace the sensor as this seems logical, does anyone have the location of this sensor on the engine? Ollie

Hi i get this message so top up with water. probably a litre or so! 24 hours later same situation! so its losing plenty of coolant but nothing dripping out! its not overheating and runs fine. I do a few hundred miles per day. Its a W212 E250 cdi 2010 sport. Any Advice welcome :)

Hi, I have no reading on my engine (M104 300TE 24v) temperature gauge. If I short the cables to the coolant temperature sensor the fan cuts in. Does this indicate a failure of the gauge or the sensor? Any tips on diagnosis? Thanks.
