In need of a timing cover for m113.984
Original part number is r 112 015 10 02
I've seen one on ebay with part number 112 015 1202
Is anyone able to tell me if this part would work. As I know Part numbers change over the years. Even if it's the same part.
Saw these and could not help myself, might be total crap but bored and thought it would a lot less hassle than buying a Japanese imported AMG !! One of those afternoons

Guys and Gals, my son is 20 and has been driving for 3 years now. However, due to him hitting something in the road and wrecking a wheel/tyre/shock absorber that cost me £650 just before xmas , I have now taken an interest in the breakdown cover. They argued that the event, hitting an...
I have a 62 W212 E63 with a collapsible spare wheel in the boot. Alongside it is a mass of electrical connections from the battery and control unit. Is there supposed to be a cover for this, or is it supposed to be exposed? I can't help thinking that it would be easy to drop a spanner or other...

Hi,
The panel with the hazard light switch on which opens for the storage compartment or cd changer will not open. Possibly linked to this is the audio unit displaying the message 'Please Close'.
Could this be a fuse (and if so, any idea which one, I couldn't see any blown) or will a system...
I'm driving to Italy, and have been told that I need 5 star breakdown cover.
"You must ensure you take out five star European breakdown cover for the vehicle"
Any idea what this is? All major breakdown companies seem to say they are 5-star breakdown... but I'm guessing it means something...
Car 2002 320CDi (I6 engine), 158k miles, great service history.
At the weekend I had a bit of time to do few car related chores. One of them was to confirm one way or the other that a small oil leak around the turbo is actually from the turbo and not from something else dripping onto the...
Hi all, had a nasty misfire / warning light episode today. The number 1 spark plug well was full of oil (2 was dry). Looks like I may need a new rocker cover gasket? Can anyone help with a how to? Can I do it myself maybe? Any tips or advice or if anyone knows a good mechanic in the Brighton /...
The load cover/blind in my 2002 w210 e430 is squeaking. It seems to come from the slide rail, which I replaced - no effect. Has anyone had any experience/luck with trying to cure this please.
Hi
I have problems with the auto load cover on my estate. The electric boot lid works fine but the load cover does not lift when you open the boot. It seems to be locked in the down position.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

New to MB ownership and wanted to protect my investment in the winter months with a car cover.
I've got no idea about the types that are available but I would assume that protecting against the inside scratching the paint and being water repellant are top of the list of "must haves" in a car...
I got a big crack from a stone, whilst driving on M1 last week and was thinking of getting windscreen changed. I've never had one replaced before in 25 years driving. I might sound a bit naive, but when you make a claim for windscreen replacement, does that affect your claim history? Does it...
Whilst I appreciate that it is theoretically possible to swap front seat covers ( to remove the seat back cover from the passenger seat back and fit it to the drivers seat back, for example). Has anyone actually done it?
With the exception of any holes ( for example where the armrest fits, or...
