    TV / Film / Music

What takes most of your leisure time ? For me it's music. Listen to it as often as I can and have spent a small fortune on my 'hifi' to ensure I get as much from the music as I can. I'll watch the occasional film and TV is only used for any programme that interests me or for DVD / Media file...

    8mm film

I've been having a tidy up and have found some old film my grandfather shot. I reckon there is about 7000 feet or so. I dug out a projector and gave it a good clean so as not to scratch the film. To my surprise it seems pretty OK still. It all seems to date from about 1961 to 1969. Some of the...

    Film on TV

We are watching an English movie filmed and set in the early eighties. I recognise a couple of the actors but can't name them. The film seems to be about a man who has a pretty much dead end job in a language school and yearns to become a science fiction writer. He meets his hero through...

    Brothers film - music?

I just watched the film "Brothers" I thought it was an excellent film, and very moving, which I wasn't expecting at all (and is quite unusual for me to say that about a film) Does anyone know if the guitar music played throughout the film is from a particular song? I loved the sound of it, but...

The car from the film 36 with Gerard Depardieu

Anyone know the car Leo Vrinks borrows from the woman he goes to stay with when he gets out of prison in this film 36. It was a really old French coupe I think, but absolutely gorgeous. Extra points if you can find me one for sale as I would be interested in buying one if possible. Thanks Kurt

    Brilliant french gangster film

Watched a great film today called Jacques Mesrine public enemy No1, absolutely cracking cast and acting, I was riveted from start to finish. It's subtitled and lasts around 4 hours, Vincent Cassell as Mesrine is outstanding. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.
