Mercedes sell an engine flush to add with the oil before changing oil. Is it safe to use?

What are the members views on using an engine flush prior to an oil change ? My car is a 55 plate ml diesel . Thanks in advance.

I have been told by a MB Dealership that Mercedes-Benz DO NOT recommend an Engine Flush of the cooling system for the M104 in a 124. Has anybody else heard this, or confirm this advice..........?
