flush

My C240 is on 162K and is due its 4 monthly oil change ( I do 25k a yea ). This time, i was wondering if i should do a flush during the change, and whether it is a reasonable thing to do. I do have a lazy tappet on startup, so was wondering if a flush might help the galleries along here. if...

E270 CDI nearly due for a service having done 130k.. can anybody suggest a good oil to replace with and does the engine need a flush out? If so what can be recommended to do a good job? like all E270 diesels it's a little noisy on start up but still pulls well.. this is my first MB and any tips...

2 questions for those curious: Do you use engine flush? I have never used it I don't like the idea of some of the 'flush' staying in the engine. Has anyone tried ramping up the tyre pressure to reduce rolling resistance and increase mpg? Cheers!

Ive just bought a 1998 W140 S320L from a freind of the family who owned it since new. The bootlid does not close flush no matter how hard you slam it. I dont know if the problem lies with the self closing mechanism. Anyone got any ideas?

Just pulled the old head unit and fitted mine, but they don't fit flush do they? Also, there doesn't seem much purchase for the cage.. all smooth plastic. I'd really like it fitted IN the dash, rather than sticking out.. Not quite sure the best way to achieve this?
