    Frequent stalling

    My 96 C180 has developed a problem where when I press the clutch pedal or put the car in neutral, revs drop rapidly and the engine stalls unless I press the accelerator very quickly. Obviously, this makes the car undrivable ... Any ideas on what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks, Alfa
