My car judders quite violently when I attempt to pull away hard. It's only in first gear straight away then stops and pulls hard through all the gears fine. It's a e320 cdi w211. It's done 160k miles Any1 got any idea's what could be the problem??? Thanks

Hello everyone Wondering if there is a DIY on how to remove a gear selector module ?? Read somewhere that someone removed there's and spayed it with pcb cleaner .. If can't be cleaned would a second hand 1 be any good ? Any input would be great Thanks

Just recently started (see other threads) but it seems my car has started to select first gear rather than second when coming to a halt. Anyone know why this might happen? Makes life un smooth.

OK my esteemed gurus, advice required. 20k miles since gearbox was rebuild due to Valeo issue (previous owner). Recently, in the last 2 weeks, when hot, if I come to a halt, there is a jolt as it takes up the gear ready to drive off. General driving its OK, the odd harsh (ish) change, but...
