gears

Hi, my a class has started to not want to go into 3rd or 5th, all other gears are fine and occasionally 3rd and 5th are fine but mostly they are just not there, anyone else had this issue or any ideas what's causing it?

I have a W202 C180 manual. The last 2 days, ive noticed a lot of play in first and second gear. It still goes in and out of gear ok but once its in gear, there is a LOT of play on it. All the other gears (reverse, third, fourth and fifth) are all still ok. Any suggestions?
