Hi. My wife just called me. I'm at work in the car. She informed me that our tax expired at the end of June. We haven't yet renewed it. DO I still have 7 days grace? Am I breaking the law if I drive the car home? Cheers!

Is there any sort of grace period on how many miles you can travel before the car is serviced while retaining the warranty? The reason I ask is as some will know my brakes are a little past it, merc dont want to know and they refused to replace them under warranty a few thousand miles ago so...
