hard or stiff

Power steering problem. The steering wheel is a little hard when you turn left or right plus you got to turn it back yourself. I have checked the fluid and tyre pressure I have also had the pump changed but its still the same. Can any help my here please. I'm sure it's suppose to be smooth...

Hi i have just bought a clk 270cdi 6 speed manual. The car is perfect but i find 1st and 2nd gears abit hard to put in some times. i think the car is worse in the morning when the oil is thicker. i have done about 500 miles now and the box has jumped out of 1st 3 times, but i think thats is done...
