I so wish I'd bought my son a new laptop, I've bought 3 2nd hand ones now from the same supplier thinking they were a deal and all have now had problems....... I've learnt my lesson!!! So the issue.... Even though the battery shows 100% charged it dies after seconds when the power is...

There is a fault and the reason behind it is, the 12V shorted. I have been trying to open up the power supply. There are no screws. How do I prise it open and make the repair? :D

I am helping someone to repair the keyboard, seemed to be sticking when press c gets cv, d gets df, e gets er and t gets T. Reinstalled XP, drivers that came with HP, flashed the BIOS. What else? Clean the keyboard underneath. :D
