hydropneumatic

Hello people, Iv been advised i need to replace my Hydropneumatic suspension damper n/s/r. Should I replace both rear ones or just the one thats needed? Can anyone point in to the right direction for refurbished one? there are lots advertised in the states, are they compatible for UK models...

My local MB dealer just did a healthcheck on my SL55 AMG and told me that my front shocker ball joints have excessive wear. They said the remedy would involve replacing the entire strut leg! The parts they quoted were: 230 320 44 13 - O/S/F HYDROPNEUMATIC SPRING LEG 230 320 45 13 - N/S/F...

I own a 560SEL W126 with hydropneumatic suspension. The problem is it does not rise when the engine is started and pressure builds. I've changed the pressure regulator and pump but they have made no difference. Has anybody come across a similar problem or got any ideas of what might be wrong?
