Any reccomended auto electrician in South Manchester / Cheshire for a dash cam job?

Hi there, after days of failed attempts at fitting a dash camera in my new C300 Hybrid, I decided to throw the towel and get the job done by a specialist. I did manage to hard wire a couple of dashboard cameras on two other cars, including my previous one, a 2010 Audi A4, but I did not manage...

    Anyone looking for a job?

https://careers.mercedes-amg-hpp.com/default.aspx Based in Northants, so quite handy for many, I should think. If I were of fewer years, I might think of applying for a 'test engineer' position. Good to see that they are also offering apprenticeships.

Suggestions please on a tool for this job

Please see attached picture of a roof rack fixing to the roof of a van. I have a lot of these to undo and the only tool I can use at the moment is a 13mm ring spanner which only gives a third of a turn with each use. Access prevents a socket and we don't seem to be able to get a ratchet spanner...

Towbar removal from 124 estate - is it a bumper off job?

Hi, After a few years away from owning a 124 I'm back in the fold with a 280 estate. It has an aftermarket towbar fitted that I wish to remove and wondered if to remove the bar that runs side to side at the rear do I need to remove the bumper? Cheers Toby

My trusty SLK is approaching 30k miles and 7 years old, and the front brake pads were looking a bit wornm so I thought I'd give it a treat and replace them. Buy the new disks and pads, make sure I've got the right tools and away I go. Except. Challenge 1 is the wheel is welded to the hub. A...

My favourite job of the year

Yes, it's come around again - my letter from DVLA reminding me that my tax disc is due. Love it! Went online immediately and did the deed, as I do each year. I see no point at all in waiting! Of course it's all a bit different when it's my daily driver that needs taxing rather than the 42 year...

Best MB dealer for this little job

I have an R230 SL that last year had a new rear window after vandal damage. The work done was pretty major as the entire rear of the car was stripped out in order to remove all the glass and a new rear window installed with new seals etc. At first the roof was fine, but now it has 'settled'...

    Bodywork job

So, back into MB ownership once more and back on the forum! :thumb: Just bought myself a lovely CLK320 although it is an x reg 2000 with a few rust bubbles poking through. It has full MBSH, no gaps - I might and try and get them to fix it for free... Wish me luck! What do you think...
