jumpy

Hi guys, when I start engine after a day or so, the auto gear box is dreadful, keeps moving the rev counter up & down a kind of slow start.... When it's warmed up however about 80c, the gears change smoothly..... Is there anything I should be looking at??? I have resorted to manual gear change...

My 99 S500's (99-05) auto gearbox is playing up. When accel at full tilt, the engine just revs on a low gear and refuses to "click" into the right gear. Also, random jerky changes... A real shame - gone from 0-60 in under 7 secs to being outraced by a 316i.. What gives?
