Hi guys
I hope someone can help
I have W202 230 komp / 1999 spec, last week I have noticed that the boot was not opening as it should, normally you use the key fob and the boot lid will swing fully open. I had a quick at the weekend and noticed that the passenger side pivot arm the bracket...
My 1995 E220 estate had a boot lid that used a motor to pull the lock tight when shutting the boot. This has now stopped working.
Would anyone know how I can check if the motor has blown or does anyone know which fuse relates to this motor?
If anyone has a diagram explaining the W124 fuse...
Hi chaps
I've just acquired a lovely old 1991 W124. The spoiler on the boot's gone and there's a rust spot on the boot edge. Someone on ebay has a boot and spoiler that looks not bad but it's from an E320 coupe.
Will it fit?
I've attached pictures of both (hopefully!)
Hello, I’ve replaced the latch of boot’s lid, but the new lock (is an updated version, I’m told) has a 4 pin electrical connector as opposed to 3 pins that the old lock has. No matter how I plug it, is not working at all. I assume that pin1 goes to pin1, but from there can be any combination...
Hi,
the lid of my boot will not open. Every time I try the handle there is a 2-3 seconds grinding noise and that’s it! Surely there is something wrong with the locking mechanism but is there a way to get into it in the first place? The little emergency key is only turning 15 minutes/ 90 degrees...
Has anybody had the need to remove the internal lining to the boot lid of their W211 E Class or change the high level brake light ?
3 of the LEDs in the high level brake light have failed and to replace them [apparently, according to MB] you have to replace the entire unit. I have been quoted...
Where is the switch in the boot lid of an E200 estate which tells the car it is open and activiates the interior lights? They are all pretty apparent on the doors but I can not find the boot lid one.
Thanks.

Going cheap so far !
Seen this on many CLK's
Mine has got pretty bad now, I need to get it sorted, been quoted £250 ish, does this seem ok?
Would it be cheaper to get a used boot lid from somewhere? If so can any one suggest any where to try?
Cheers
