Just wondering how long the drive belt on a 5.5 V8 lasts? Or maybe a better question is: how often should they be changed? I had one break on a previous car and it cost a fortune to repair the damage.

So i am having new pads at 26,000 miles which I understand and expect with an automatic car but discs? MB dealership saying my discs are 0.7mm from wear limit. Can't recall having a car that needed discs at 26,000 miles before, or for that matter discs that wear at the same rate as the pads...
