Apparently it happened now a couple of times after a little drive that when the missus came back the power steering was making a racket similar to the noise when you turn all the way to max .
I personally haven't heard it yet but it did so again...
W639 handbrake pedal travel The footpedal in my Vito ( W639 2007) goes a long way down before it "goes tight " considerably more than in my mercedes saloon cars . I have today adjusted the wheel cogs inside the brake drum to bind then just backed off a couple of single cogs to free rotation ...
I've seen a few people do this now. Putting a long bolt in the slot for the spare wheel jack and then using a trolly jack to lift the car from the bolt. (See image below)
I can kind of see this working as the jacking point where the bolt is placed is where the emergency boot jack would...
So where's the best place to get long tubes for the E55 in the UK? Anyone sell them? Mids and shorties seem to be easy to find. Had a quick search, but didn't find much. Thanks.

...has anyone here owned the 6.0 W12 Audi A8 by any chance? Tried googling but advice is a bit thin on the ground which is understandable with such a rare car.
If so, is there anything I should know? I know it's the same lump in the Bentley but was just wondering if there's any particular...
Land Rover Defender's spirit lives on as billionaire pours cash into new off-roader
Fascinated how this will turn out. A genuinely new, thoroughbred 4x4 inspired by the Defender. Elon Musk reaches for the moon, this UK billionaire has a more earthy aim. And made in Britain!
Can he pull it off!?
Hi,
This is a stonker of a first post, so please bear with me. Despite their fearsome reputation I rather like the looks of the W210 saloon, and I'm especially fond of the OM606 turbodiesel. So I'm thinking about trying to get a 300TD W210 in a few months, preferably under 150k with MB...
1999 BMW E39 520i Automatic. Finished in beautiful navy blue.
Was taken in P/X. I don't know if I'm allowed to post this due to rivalry between MB and BMW but this is a good honest motor.

Hi, this is my first post here. I live and work in Denmark since 2013 and drive a 1991 w124 250d 5 speed manual with just over 400,000km and still going strong. I'm going to retire in mid 2017 and intend to drive around Europe and the UK before heading home to my family in Australia.
Any advise...

Getting into foggy season I've tried to find on web (PH and other) if yellow lights are legal or not but with no success. Only what I've found is this from MOT manual "Two front position lamps must be fitted, one on each side and show a steady white light to the front (or yellow if incorporated...
