Has anyone one here ever fitted or had experience with fitting a Stainless steel performance type Exhaust manifold to either of the N/A M111 engines like the 180 or 200?
Have always found it to be a worthwhile mod in the past either freeing up some power or at least providing...
I own a w203 with the m111 e20 ml evo engine. I currently run a 23cm crankshaft pulley but I need more hp so im thinking of upgrading to a 24cm pulley. are there such pulleys available ?
Hi all, I recently had a problem whereby oil was leaking into the coolant.
No water was getting into the oil fortunately.
It got to the stage where the engine was overheating and the coolant was nothing but sludge so I completely drained the system, spent ages cleaning the rad and all hoses...
I have the e220 cabrio but it lacks powers so i changing it to a m104 320. i have considered several other options but i think this would be the best.
I consider myself an experienced DIY mechanic, but without a doubt i have lots to learn still, i am carrying out all the labour myself to keep...
Does anybody know if there is an easier way to get to the tempomat cruise control actuator on a w124 M111?
I believe its mounted below the intake manifolds which looks cramped to get to from the top. (infact i dont think you can even see it from the top)
I'm assuming the only way around this...

Does anyone know the correct spark plug gap for the M111 engine in my '94 e220 coupe W124
Manual I have mentions only 'set to the correct gap' which is really helpful !

after removing the front cover of my M111 engine,I saw the solenoids oily,I thought there is leaking oil seals under the solenoids...but there was nothing under them...
any idea how to stop this leak?
I heard that MB sells paste that stop this leak but very expensive...is this true...
