Got myself a nice shiny new Bosch MAF for my W163 Chap where I bought it said I needed to 'reset' my ECU when I fitted it? I think this is ******.....right? Anybody give me a step by step guide of fitting it correctly. Would ideally like to reset everything as I think throttle...

My 2000 CLK320`s Maf number reads 0280217810, when I check on car parts website it indicates this is from a 430. Am I doing any harm running with this maf sensor, I am wanting to change it as I think the cars a bit slow on pulling away I just want the correct one for my car.
