i own a 2004 model and 3 months ago the engine management light came on and a week later it repaired itself.it is now on again and i am concerned that by waiting for it to correct itself i might do engine damage. anyone help?

Was told by a dealer today that if you let a cls run low on petrol it can trigger the engine management light to come on but will go out again 24hours after re-fuelling,is this true?

Well someone managed to play chicken with the fuel guage on 0 miles, It managed about 20 miles at about 30mph before catching me out the driver out. The car seems ok and wondered how to get the light to go out without having to ODBC II or similar. A battery disconnect perhaps? Thanks S
