    Exhaust Manifold Gasket

    It would look like I have to change my Manifold gasket and replace a couple of studs on a W124 2ltr Petrol engine in the very near future. Would it be worth doing a howto? (if I cant get at a broken stud then its a head off job :crazy: ) Would anyone find it usefull?

    Oily inlet manifold and pipes.

    WARNING DIRTY PICTURES! After all the talk of MAS problems, I thought I would take a look at mine: As you can see, there is not much to it. Looks like a diode/resistor type thing. You can see in the picture that mine is very oily, so I thought I would see where the oil was coming...

    Manifold gasket

    Hi, The mechanic took the manifold off today to cure an annoying blow. I need to get a new gasket; i always try to use MB parts, but they dont have in stock and need to order. Should be here by Friday, but they often say that and it ends up being two weeks.... But KMS in Birmingham...

    Blowing manifold ? 300te

    My 89 300te has been running funny since i was in a bad traffic jam last week.When we started moving a big cloud of smoke came out of the exhaust and the car feels funny particularly at low speeds. i have been told that my manifold might be blowing and i could maybe just tighten it up.
