It sounds like one of my manifold gaskets is leaking. It is a big job? The gaskets are cheap - less than £10 for the set. Could this be a diy job?

Does anyone have any experience in removing the turbo from a 97 E300TD (S210) engine? I have an exhaust leak at the flanges between the turbo and the exhaust manifold. Are there any gaskets in here or is it likely to be a warped face causing the leak? Thanks in advance, Duncan

How much do you reckon a brand new inlet manifold would cost fitted for a C270CDi . I have been told my non acceleration / turbo not kicking in ( see thread below ) problem is down to a knackered inlet manifold that needs completely replacing with a new one. Any guesstimates ??
