Does anyone have a clue as to what would be a cost-effective system for, say, a 12v (car friendly) small camera (solid state?) and memory system? I am looking for something that would record the last 5 minutes of images and then write-over - ideally that could be dash-mounted and with (usb?)...

After I got back the car from the dealership the driver seat controls did not work at all. I found out that this was due to a blown fuse 27. I have replaced the fuse and can adjust the seat properly, however: When I press memory and all motors are moving at the same time the fuse 27 (30amp)...

    Headrest loosing Memory?

The headrest on my CLK (W209 I think) goes up & down correctly when you use the switch, Trouble is it does not go down far enough. If I tilt the seat forward it goes down to the bottom, so there is no physical barrier to the headrest and the switch operates it fine. Probably just needs a reset...

Found this on the US MB slk forum... was a little scepticle at first until loads of guys reported that their cars were quicker off the line, changed gear at more optimum points etc, so I tried it and it does indeed seem to work! The long way to reset the gearbox memory is to disconnect the...

    Hehe, a daft memory....

The thread about the gearbox oil reminded me of this. A few years ago, my dad was about to travel from Nothern Ireland where we lived to Bisley (England) for a shooting competition. He had a diesel Discovery at the time, and asked me if I would drop the oil and filters first, as it was a long...
