Does anyone have a clue as to what would be a cost-effective system for, say, a 12v (car friendly) small camera (solid state?) and memory system?
I am looking for something that would record the last 5 minutes of images and then write-over - ideally that could be dash-mounted and with (usb?)...
After I got back the car from the dealership the driver seat controls did not work at all. I found out that this was due to a blown fuse 27.
I have replaced the fuse and can adjust the seat properly, however:
When I press memory and all motors are moving at the same time the fuse 27 (30amp)...
I have a 2001 w203 with memory electric seats, the passenger side has bee diagnosed as needing a new switch in the door, £110 from a dealer.
There was one on ebay that looked identical, but the part number was for a later model 2003 on.
Does any one know what the difference is? will the later on...
Just installed 2 x 512MB SDD memory cards on my PC at home, but looking at the properties, my memory is only at 980MB. I am happy with the performance, just wondered where the loss is?
Ordered the Memory Package on my ML thinking that when my short wife uses the car and moves the seat right forward I can come along next time open up the car and the seat will move to where I want it. Nope.
I have to stand in the rain with my finger in the memory button to move the seat back...
bit of a desktop clearout going on here
All of the following are free to anyone who has a genuine use for them
As they are all fairly small cards (memory wise) they are really only useful to anyone with an older camera

The headrest on my CLK (W209 I think) goes up & down correctly when you use the switch, Trouble is it does not go down far enough. If I tilt the seat forward it goes down to the bottom, so there is no physical barrier to the headrest and the switch operates it fine. Probably just needs a reset...
Hi
Does anyone know how to reset the transmissions memory on a C43?
In all the time I have had it I've never done it but was told disconnecting the battery for half an hour does it. Is this true?

Thought it would be of interest to those that use Sony equipment or Sony's Memory Sticks.
Shame I predominently use Secure Digital.

I seem to have developed a problem with the passenger side front memory seat. The seat does not respond to any movements on the door switches.
I am aware that the battery was disconnected as i has to reset the windows, sunroof and clock however I'm not sure if the seat has a reset as well...
I know the question has been asked before but I couldn't work out if any solutions applied to my car.
I have a C43 which has electric front seats and mirrors but manual steering column. Is it possible to add memory to the seat settings - is there a simple module + switches swap, or is it more...
Not aimed at Nokia specifically but I'd thought I would share my finding with all you guys/gals here.
I've just recently upgraded to a 1GB DV-RS-MMC card for my Nokia N70 from the Orange supplied 64MB card and generally all is working well. [Side note: Following on from Pammy's thread...
Ive got electric seats on my w124, but they dont have memory. I wanted to find out if it was possible to fit the memory function. Any ideas, Im sure its got to be easier than on a later w210 or w208 etc...
Cheers
Found this on the US MB slk forum... was a little scepticle at first until loads of guys reported that their cars were quicker off the line, changed gear at more optimum points etc, so I tried it and it does indeed seem to work!
The long way to reset the gearbox memory is to disconnect the...
The thread about the gearbox oil reminded me of this. A few years ago, my dad was about to travel from Nothern Ireland where we lived to Bisley (England) for a shooting competition. He had a diesel Discovery at the time, and asked me if I would drop the oil and filters first, as it was a long...
Does anyone know if it is ok to change the standard ML electric seats for memory electric seats? are the seats "stand alone" or do they connect to canbus?
I also have the amplifier under one of the seats.
