mirrors

Hi Guys, I need to replace the wing mirror (whole unit) on my 2004 ML. I am told that there is a difference between the wing mirrors for RHD and LHD cars, but they both look the same on my car, is it true that a wing mirror for a RHD ML will not fit a LHD ML??

Has anyone had them fitted on an SL; maybe can show a picture or two?? Just seen them on EBAY & they look like a really sweet update/upgrade to the car!?

The heated mirrors on my 04 plate ML switch on automatically via sensors which decide exterior temperature. However my heaters are now on all the time despite external temperatures of 20deg +. They do not time out and switch off. Anyone got any ideas please ??:confused:

My w205 order was delayed for a month so I've got a brand new c180 w204 as a loaner. When I reverse to park the mirrors don't tilt down, am I missing something or is this some add on this car doesn't have? It has a reversing camera so I'm surprised the mirrors don't also tilt down.
