My heater blower motor is shot due to worn bearings and brushes. It's the aircon type with two cages. Can anyone recommend a source of replacement motor complete with the cages please? I can't seem to see a UK source of after market replacement units and I'm scared to ask MB for a price.
Hi,
As common with a lot of W203's I am getting a clicking noise coming from the dash, assumed to be the Stepper Motor. The strange thing is though if I apply gentle pressure to the brake pedal the clicking stops.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is there an easyish fix that I could apply...

Hi everyone, I am new here and would like some urgent help. Only bought my car 1 month ago, last Sunday due to heavy rain could not avoid going through some puddles on road. Water came into nearside footwell, today 3 days later got into car a heater blower would not work. Took it to garage...
Driving me crazy but doesn't really warrant the inconvenience of having to take it to the garage, so I hope someone can help.
The load cover on my W211 Estate clips into two channels at the rear of the car and when the tailgate is opened, the load cover is raised up and out of the way by a...
The wipers on my 2008 Citroen Berlingo have been playing up over the last week, essentially they don't always turn off and run on for a random amount of time even when the engine is switched off.
My mechanic tells me that i have to replace the wiper motor as they don't use relays anymore, is...
Both my 1994 W124 and my 1990 W124 donor car have exactly the same problem - a slow and sticking windscreen wiper! I have completely dismantled both units and cleaned and lubricated all gearing (back & front) - a slight improvement, but not much.
The motor is still driving the unit, albeit very...
I have a burnt out heater blower motor resistor - part no. 1248202710, originally made by Hella.
I can get one from Mercedes via Germany but it will take a few weeks and cost £332!!
Anyone out there know where i could locate one, not necessarily new?
For a while my blower has been playing up - after a bit of research it seemed like it might be the blower motor resistor regulator might be the culprit. I just replaced this and it has improved things, but I noticed that the blower doesn't always burst into life. A sharp tap with the handle of...
I'm sure most of you know what car you want next, but there must be a few as indecisive as me and are looking for ideas or inspiration.
As I am now a thoroughly happy Mercedes convert, my 'plans' for my next purchase are along the lines of a 126 sec or a 107 slc.
I would be interested to...
Hi Just purchased a 320 cdi 2006 already just serviced, but trusting no one i had the car serviced and checked over by a new garage i have not used before, when i picked it up he told me it needed a new intake port shut off motor, ball socket, intake pipe socket, also replace upstream 02 sensor...
Now had my Jersey import E class 320cdi estate on the road for a month and enjoyed every moment.
Thanks to all for the advice given prior to purchase. I'm still working my way around Comand and can say the only disappointment is the sat Nav which would have benefited from some input from one...
Used part, removed from my car as it was replaced when having the inlet manifold changed.
This part is in working order and pulled from a running car.
It's an original Mercedes part - made by Pierburg.
A 642 150 01 94 - Number on the part
Same as A 642 150 04 94
