    Auto transmission oil.....which type??

    Hi Guys, Thinking of changing my auto transmission oil, on my c180 1994 auto, unfortuantely in the haynes manual it does not mention what grade............or type Is this because they want you to buy MERCS Dealership ATF only????? Any ideas on grade and type? Thanks in advance guys
