What a nightmare!! I have replaced my front wiper motor for a brand new unit. Assembled everything right, dry run the motor (without blades fitted) to get to start position. Refitted blades and now the wipers try to go down instead of up! What could be the cause of this?

Arriving back to my underground parking spot in Galway, I see an SL with old style AMG rims, with about 2 inches deep on the rears. It says SL60 on the back, and looks the business. I've never seen one before and from what I understand they are exceedingly rare - only 180 produced in RHD form...
