How do I find out the above code without going to see ny local dealer?

We bought our son an iPod touch for his birthday and because of his younger siblings trying to play on it, he decided to put a Passcode on it. Which he has now forgot...:wallbash: I've plugged the iPod into iTunes that it's synced with and done a factory restore, yet it's still asking for...

Can anyone help please. I am pairing a blackberry to a SAP VER:1 cradle installed in my ML. It asks me for a passcode which is supposed to be on the inside of the SAP module but alas it is not there. Is there a generic passcode for these units and if not, any ideas? TIA
