Hi there,
On one of my front wings the lower plastic body panel is not fitting correctly, can anyone tell me how to remove it please so I can re fit it?
Thanks

Discussing the state of my bumper trims earlier today (exciting stuff) and looking at parking threads on here, this seems pertinent..
Why do many modern cars dispense with the useful black plastic bits which prevent the inevitable light contact turning into a job for a paintshop.. My CE is well...
hi
i need to glue a clip onto a bit of plastic trim that you move (its a seat switch). Unfortunatly, i've tried Araldite and the repair just breaks after a few uses.

Hello, I need a little screw that make the mirror move. There are 2 but one of mine is broken... Mercedes only sale the complete motor I was told, a wee dear compare to a 10 cents plastic screw.
Anyone has one or knows where can I get one?
Thank you. Olivier :bannana: :bannana: :bannana:
300TE 12V - The plastic trim which sits on the cam cover and houses the ignition leads - how is the base length fixed to the cam cover top? Mine had snapped and I just bought a new one from MERC. Old one just appeared to be "sitting" in the cam cover slot!!!
Seems like a weakling couldnt lift it and it has a few scratches (some a few mm deep) in the plastic surround of the rear mounts - has anyone dealt with this or got a answer for refurbing plastic (like a plastic t cut I guess)
TIA
I am asking this here because the Volvo forum I was on got closed.
My Volvo's door handles (among other bits) are of a grainy-finish plastic, and because it's parked under trees, they are getting a bit lichen-y.
I can't find anything effective to clean the lichen off. Any ideas?
TIA

Just bought a 1998 230SLK with Red & Black leather. The trim panel around the handbrake area is showing black specks coming through the red coating due to use as armrest. What is the method of recoating this without having to replace with new item, is it a simple aerosol spray or not?
