I'm looking to fit an Audio 10 single CD player to my R129. Scrolling through the (mostly) cack on eBay, I've seen several references to the "prod" message. Could somebody tell me what this means?

Hi, Ive just installed a new radio/cd player (same as the original) and its turning off after a few seconds and showing PROD on the screen. How do i remedy this on my Merc clk 270 2003? I don't have any previous codes for the cd player that was originally in the car.
